Mid-May: More daylight; trees in full bloom; summer on the way. Below is an update from the Kingsport Fitness & Wellness Society. If you haven’t participated in one of our programs for a while, please come back! We miss you! All late spring and summer programs will be held at the Lloyd Centre in Kingsport.
1.      Strength and Cardio: Monday, Wednesday and Friday: 9 – 10 am. $25.00 for 8 classes or $4.00 drop-in fee. Christine introduces new techniques, cheerfully encourages us and makes it fun for all ages and abilities.

2.      Co-ed Circuit Training: Tuesday and Thursday: 5:30 to 6:30 pm. Work through 12 or more stations in one minute intervals in an hour. Irene as facilitator provides warm ups, cool downs and a keen eye throughout the sessions. New circuits are introduced every 8 weeks. $25.00 for 8 classes; $50.00 if you’d like to attend twice a week for 8 weeks. Drop in anytime for $4.00/session.

3.      *** Summer Yoga*** begins June 3. Monday: 5:30 to 6:45 pm. We’re fortunate that   our instructor, Jenna has returned and will be assisted by Melanie. Blocks and bolsters are provided for a supportive and guided practice. This cost for the 6 week session is $45.00 or $10.00 drop in fee.  

4.      Niamh Webster is training as a Senior Fitness Instructor and will be offering low impact daytime classes in the future…more information at a later date.


The Kingsport Fitness & Wellness Society  Annual Fundraising Event this year will be a YARD SALE to take place June 29, 2013 ( Kingsport Gala Day). Please consider putting things aside for this sale as you do your spring cleanup. Watch for more details!
