Fall is for planting... Fall is for fitness...Fall is for picking up old projects and starting new ones. Here's what Kingsport Fitness and Wellness is doing this Fall.

As previously advertised, there will be a special "Subtle Energy Workshop" Thursday September 11 6:00-8:30pm. For more information and registration please contact Melanie.
Circuit Training is back! Tuesdays and Thursdays 5:30-6:30pm. First class Tuesday 16 September. Progress through 12 or more stations in one minute exercise intervals. Designed for all abilities and ages; co-ed. Drop-in fee $4 or $25 for 8 classes. After several years of warm and conscientious leadership, Irene Burrell is now stepping aside from instructing. These classes will be led by Melanie Amos on Tuesdays and Christine Heap on Thursdays. Irene will be missed but please be assured she has taken the time to help Melanie and Christine make a smooth transition and Richard Foot will still be helping design the circuits.
Monday, Wednesday and Friday 9:00-10:00am the cardio class continues! "Nothing can stop us now" sounds like a song title and could refer to this dedicated group of keep-fitters. Monday and Wednesday there is a strength training element and Fridays we take on the circuit training. Great music and a good workout in good company guaranteed. Drop-in $4 or $25 for 8 classes. Instructor: Christine Heap.
All classes held in the Lloyd Memorial Centre, Kingsport.
Open House and Plant Sale Saturday September 20 from 9:00am-12:00pm
Free classes in the hall and $5 plants from Kingstec in the park pavilion.
This is your chance to try out a different class from the one you may be familiar with and to bring along a friend to show them what we do. Each class will last 30 minutes and there will be time to chat with the instructors, have a coffee and visit the park pavilion where there will be shrubs, perennials and trees from Kingstec. This is a selection of different and unusual plants so if you're looking for something special to fill that empty space - this is the sale for you!
The classes are Cardio/Strength Training 9:30-10:00am; Yoga 10:15-10:45am; Circuit Training 11:00-11:30am.
See you there!
